Welcome Back Harmony Families!
Please complete a meal application for your student(s) to see if you qualify for free or reduced meal costs.  This can be done through our online lunch application, School Cafe.
Please click the link to see the application steps.  If your student received free or reduced benefits last year, this status will carry over for 30 calendar days into this school year.  You must complete a new application to qualify for the benefits this 2018-19 school year.

Per the Harmony meal policy, students may charge a lunch balance up to -$10.00.  Once a student’s balance reaches this amount, they will receive an alternative meal for lunch per day.  Please avoid this situation and ensure your student has a positive balance on their lunch account at all times.  You may come to the front office and pay with a credit card, or you can set up online payments through our online lunch application, School cafe.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding this.

Dear Harmony Parents,

Harmony Science Academy-Carrollton announces Summer Bridge Program.  Please contact front office if you have any questions.

“Hello, Everyone!

Summer is almost over, and it’s almost time for our Student Orientation!  Our wonderful P.T.O. will host a Kona Ice and Crazy Dog Day during Student Orientation on Friday, August 10.  Come to campus for all the usual academic stuff, the clubs, the uniforms, and everything else, AND wonderful P.T.O. food like hot dogs, sodas, chips, cheese, condiments, and pickles, and Kona Ice!  This will be an excellent fundraiser for P.T.O. to start the year off right and with meals for all!

Dear Husky Family,
As we are about to start the new school year, I wish to take this opportunity to welcome you all back to Harmony Science Academy – Carrollton. I hope each of you had a joyful summer break with your near and dear ones. The start of a new school year provides an ideal time to reflect on where we have been and where we are heading. It’s really hard to believe that another awesome year is around the corner! It seems like we just closed out the 2017-2018 school year. We have been planning and preparing all summer, and we are very excited that our young scholars will be on campus in just a few short weeks!
Hello parents and students,
We want to invite all our upcoming 6th and 9th grade students to our Summer Bridge program.  Students will be have the opportunity to meet many of their new teachers, learn about STEM culture here at HSA and work on PBL projects.  Lunch will be provided and there will also be a Q & A session with returning upperclassmen.
If your student will be present, please let us know by completing this form.
We will send out reminder emails as the date of the event gets closer.  Enjoy your summer!

Harmony Science Academy Carrollton *recommends that you  purchase a TI-Nspire CX graphing calculator for your 8-12 student.

At Harmony, TI-Nspire technology is incorporated into Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus classes.  With their own calculator, learning can better extend well beyond the classroom.

Students benefit from having their own calculator by:

  • having the same calculator for homework as they use in class
  • having a valuable study aid on hand whenever needed
  • downloading helpful applications just like on a computer
  • mastering the TI-Nspire CAS technology before it is needed in the classroom
  • being ready for any offsite test

With their own calculator their learning process extends beyond the classroom.

As the world becomes more high-tech, the fastest growing jobs are requiring high-tech skills.  Math and science proficiency is becoming increasingly necessary and will benefit the students regardless of the career path they take.

For more information, visit

*calculators are provided in the classroom and are therefore not required

From Harmony Public Schools, Office of the Director of Health and Safety:
In the interest of safety, Harmony Science Academy Carrollton will be implementing a no back pack policy for the remainder of the school year.  We will review safety procedures over the summer and will let all stakeholders know if this policy will continue into the next school year. Students cannot bring any backpacks or large bags into the building for the remainder of the year and should take home all non-essential items today.
